Utah Symphony

On Saturday I went to the symphony at Abravenal Hall with several of my friends from the MBA program.














The orchestra played Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky. It was great! Dell and Emily were there as well, so we met up during intermission and after the concert. There was a guest cellist who performed and Emily got a signed copy of her cd...

After the concert a few of us went to a social at the New Yorker club in SLC. We met some of the musicians and had great refreshments. We sat in a nice private room in the club and two other couples we didn't know joined our group. I really enjoyed visiting with them all. They were great people with whom to spend the evening.

Finance MidTerm

At first I was disappointed that I got a B on my Finance midterm. I ran out of time during the exam so I was't able to answer two of the questions. However, today we got the exam back and I looked over the grading. I realized that I earned every point on every question I attempted. So, it turns out I'm understanding all this stuff and can use it correctly. That's probably the most important thing...

Informational Interviews in Orange County

A group of my classmates traveled with me to Orange County this week to hold informational interviews with several companies in the area. We couldn't miss In-N-Out while we were there...














We spent two days visiting with people at Black & Decker, Boeing, Edwards Lifesciences and Mercer Consulting.

I got to spend an evening with the Esplins and stopped by the Newport Beach Temple.

We also spent a day at Disneyland. I hadn't been there in nearly 20 years...
